In this Unit you will be learning about some basic concepts to do with eTwinning. In the documents included here you can read up on some information about its history, its current situation or possible connections with other Comenius actions. We strongly recommend the documents about the pedagogical foundations of the programme, especially the information regarding collaborative work. Studying these concepts will be useful to you, as you will need them in the following units to complete many of the course activities.
You will find the following documents:
- What is eTwinning?: General aspects of the programme: participation, main features, pedagogical principles...
- Collaborative learning: Collaborative work becomes especially important within pedagogical principles. Here we will deal with some of the basic principles.
- eTwinning in Comenius: A brief analysis of the many possible interactions between eTwinning and other Comenius actions.
