Moving Toys in kindergarden

In order to awake in children a curiosity for moving toys mechanisms, I intent to make some moving toys with my students.Moving Toys run thanks a mechanical movement which is a combination of engineering and handicrafts.The mechanism can be found in the lower part of the toy, and the moving toy in the upper part.This is the idea:https://youtu.be/MawtsY17MCk

• Materias: Diseño y Tecnología, Educación medioambiental, Lenguas extranjeras, Informática TIC, Matemáticas / Geometría, Ciencias naturales, Materias de Preescolar, Tecnología
• Idiomas: English, español
• Edad de los alumnos: 4 - 6
• Herramientas a utilizar: Chat, Forum, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Twinspace, Video conference, Virtual learning environment (communities, virtual classes, ...)
• Objetivos: - Create the basics for a scientific method of thinking.- STEM approach.- Solve problems.- Show respect for other people's opinion.- Formulated a hypothesis and obtain results.- Increase vocabulary.- Learn to creat projects as a team.- Developed and increase creativity.
• Proceso de trabajo: We start next October , deciding the project, materials and timetables.The toy is built is small groups and the problems are solved in the main group.The following steps are to be implemented:- Search ...
