En la Red, que no te pesquen
This month we are highlighting a project which has only just started, because of the importance of the topic it deals with. En la Red, que no te pesquen is an eTwinning project in Spanish being developed by four schools in
.
Many different activities are being planned: reading material, multimedia and personal presentations, virtual exchanges, excursions, recordings and auditions, the production of films, data collection and digitization and a long etcetera of unusual tasks for the classroom.
We can already see their work in their TwinSpace (the project is in its first stage): debates on the video clip of the song Tote King Redes sociales, on the dangers of Webcams, up-to-date news on identity theft and the inappropriate use of Twenty, etc. The pupils work collaboratively, in mixed nationality groups, collecting and discussing information on the topic on a Wiki which they will later summarise in a Prezi.
It is not a bad idea to devote some time at the beginning of any project which involves minors using Internet to show them the risks that they face and how to deal with them, so that they can safely enjoy the world of possibilities which the Internet offers.
