Back to Unit 5

This unit and the next one mainly deal with the knowledge and use of TwinSpace, a space that will be automatically activated for each approved project.

TwinSpace is the workplace where schools taking part can share all kinds of resources with the members. Students and teachers from different schools can take part, in accordance with some set permits and profiles to carry out their work. That is to say, here is where the different activities created in the project planning take place.

Forums, internal mail, chat conversations, wikis, document folders, diaries or image banks are only some of the examples we can find in this space, which must be created by the participants and which can also be made public, whether totally or partially, depending on those in charge.

Therefore, it is important to use and manage the different existing tools, as well as control anything referring to the different profiles and possible access profiles (teacher and student). The rest of the work depends on the participants' imagination and the different functions we wish to give.

In Unit 5 we will see this space from both student's profiles: student-administrator' and student-member, and we will focus on the basic uses of the communication and work tools.
