Project Diary

It is mainly a way to communicate with the SNA. Its objective is for teachers to write about the development and assessment of the activities and to make questions (as we shall see, students cannot access it, although they can read it). The National Support Service reviews Blog posts, reads and answers the doubts that appear by trying to help the teachers in the practice of their ideas. Once a project has been finished, the Project Diary can become a great base document for final assessment, if you wish to do it.

eTwinning Groups

eTwinning Groups are teacher communities focusing on common topics of interest. It is a new tool to be launched in 2010. Therefore, they will not be available yet when this training course begins.

However, it is advisable to pay attention to any news that may come up on the SNA and SCA websites. These groups will have tools such as forums, chats or file uploading and management, which will allow them to work and learn with mates from all over Europe about a topic of interest. Initially, both the topics and the group moderators will be suggested by the National and Central Support Services, although in a near future teachers can start and moderate their own groups.

Learning events

Learning Events are training activities for teachers; virtual, short and intensive encounters - lasting between one and two weeks - that deal with different topics at different levels and subjects. Their aim is to stimulate ideas and develop skills without a long-term commitment, in terms of time.

They are led by an expert and they offer active work and discussions amongst teachers all over Europe, which are designed to make them a fun and attractive learning experience.

They are carried out in various languages (up until now they have been done in English, French and German) and in this academic year they will also be offered in Spanish. The range of languages will gradually increase.
Each encounter includes personal work, discussions and reflection sessions. Materials can be found online and can be accessed whenever necessary.

On the teacher’s Desktop you will see the link to register approximately a week before the event starts.

In addition to this, the National Support Service website announces the beginning of the registration period. Bear in mind that there is a large number of participants and there are usually limited places, so you should check the news regularly.

Full information about these events is posted on the CSS website, in the section "Professional development", "Learning Events". Here you can read about the latest activities carried out.
